The new generation of Karaoke On Demand System (KOD) comes with a built-in 200GB hard drive which can be easily upgraded to a larger capacity.
GV-520 Kalastation Jukebox can be set to 2 modes: in DVD mode, this player is a fully functional DVD/VCD/CD+G Karaoke Player. In KOD mode, this player will play files stored on the hard drive as a video/music jukebox.
This KOD player offers an unique "disc to hard drive" capturing function. You can copy any VCD song, VCD movies or CD audio directly from the built-in 8X DVD tray into the hard drive. The song data are stored on the hard drive uncompressed so you can enjoy the highest fidelity of music and video without the hassle of swapping discs. You can assign a song number and a category so recalling the song is just a touch of button through either on screen navigation or by song number.
For advance users, you can edit your song library on your PC by plug the hard drive into any standard Windows PC. You can use your computer to transfer any DVD or VCD songs into the hard drive.
This KOD system even comes with 2 remote controllers. Primary remote is for song editing with full function buttons and A-Z keypad. Secondary remote has minimum function designed specifically for song selection.
